Disney offers its own stimulus to shake the travel world by offering great deals and specials. First deal is that kids age 12 and under can get a 50% discount off of cruise fares as quoted on the Disney Cruise website. The children need to travel with two full fare Guests and stay in the same stateroom. This offer is good for three, four, and seven night cruises. It is also good for most dates from April 11, 2009 through May 17, 2009.
Another great deal is that if you book through the Disney Cruise website, you receive a $25 shipboard credit.
But wait, there’s more. This promotion is similar to what the local residents near the California Park gets. California residents often get great discounts to admission to Disneyland. Now, the cruise line is offering a similar deal. If you are a Florida resident, you may take a Disney Bahamian or Caribbean cruise at a discount.

Disney has two ships called Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. Here are some fun facts and information about these ships. The colors of the ships are actually Mickey Mouse’s colors - yellow, red, and dark blue. The anchor weighs fourteen tons. The propeller weighs eighteen point eight tons.
The interior of the two ships are different. The Disney Magic has an art deco theme. Throughout the ship, there are sleek, straight lines, slender forms, and modern motifs. The Disney Wonder has an art nouveau theme. There is a nature type feeling. Curvy, wave designs and whimsical interiors help reinforce the style.
The resources on the two ships include 1,850 telephones. Total fuel capacity is 20,000 gallons. Each ship can convert sea water into fresh water through distillation. Water that is distilled equals 1,200 tons a day. Water is collected from the air conditioning system. 280 tons of water is collected and used to operate the laundry.
On the bow of the Disney Magic, you will find Sorcerer Mickey. On the bow of the Disney Wonder, you will find Steamboat Willie. In the lobby of the Disney Magic, you will find a statue of Helmsman Mickey. In the lobby of the Disney Wonder, you will find a statue of Ariel.

Disney Magic offers an experience for both the adults and children. It is a 2,700 passenger ship decorated in art deco. Cruises are weeklong and alternates between Eastern and Western Caribbean routes. A special stop includes Disney’s private island called Castaway Cay.
There are offerings for travelers of all ages. Young children enjoy games and stories. Older kids play computers and can hang out at their own clubs. The adults have their own areas including their own nightclubs and nightlife activities.
However, there is one place that is suited for everyone and is definitely a favorite. It is restaurant called Animator’s Palate. The interior of the restaurant is black and white. But as the night and the meals progress, the guests are presented with a “show” in which the room and the cast members gradually change into full color.
